Packing Your Suitcase for Iceland – Your Trip Will Be a Great Adventure
An adventure trip to Iceland must be planned very well. My holiday in Iceland was very short (we very there for only 6 days.) We saw a lot, because we planned everything very well. I thought I’d write this packing post so that you can think about planning your holiday. This is the only post that’s still missing. If you want to read all my Iceland blogpost, than click HERE. I listed some very important items in this post, so that you know what to pack. There’s much more, and waterproof and warm clothes are also important to endure the cold. You will be outside a lot.

What to Pack: Iceland
Raincoat. A must have is a good raincoat. The most suitable raincoat would protect against cold and wind. The wind is so stormy in Iceland. We were so careful driving the car, because we thought the car would roll over. That’s why I recommend a normal jacket and another raincoat that you can put over everything
Thermal Underwear. Pack thermal shirts and thick tights. The days in Iceland are long and you’re on the go all the time. Thermal underwear will be very good for you! Trust me
Waterproof Hiking Shoes. Waterproof hiking shoes are just as important as a raincoat. The area can be very bumpy. The shoes have to be comfortable run in. Blisters are the last thing on earth that you’d need.
Backpack. To store all your items (water, camera, gloves, tissues), it‘s necessary to take a backpack with you. Manuel and I both had a backpack
Swimsuit or Bikini.Don’t forget it at home! You can jump into hot springs in Iceland. That’s why I recommend taking your bikini with you and putting it into your backpack. A little towel would be good too, incase you find a hot spring
Gloves & Hood.I think I don’t have to add anything. Don’t forget to put them in your backpack.
Sunglasses. The sun is quite dazzling in Iceland. Because of the snow in (e.g. the Glacier Lagoon), it’s very bright too. Pack your sunglasses.
