Top Destinations for Couples in 2016

This year I wanted a romantic and nice holidays with my special somenone. Fortunately, In the last few months I was already able to travel a lot with my boyfriend. I picked out some of my favorite places and some more couple-friendly destinations. I love to hear abour your experiences – where have you traveled with your significant other?

  • Amalfi Coast

Unfortunately, I haven’t been yet. What’s better than having a glass of wine in one of the most charming and beautiful cities in the world? You can even explore the coast, if you rent a Kayak. You can visit a couple of tourist free spots like this. but I think a walk through the city is very romantic as well.

  • Santorini

What can I say? It’s so pretty from the pictures! You can’t not love every angle of the city. This place is so magical. The view, the cliffs, volcanos and the beautiful, red-black beaches are all so dreamy.Best of all, I’ll be there in 10 days myself. Follow me on Instagram & Facebook

  • Dubrovnik

Croatia is beautiful, charming, and not so far away. It’s right around the corner from me. A lot of my friends and family drive there in the summer. For Dubrovnik, it might be better to fly. This city looks beautiful and I hope I can go too.

  • Vietnam

Maybe it’s because I’m in love with Thailand. That’s why Vietnam is so interesting to me. I imagine it to be so beautiful. I love the thought of Manuel and I in a boat navigating through the Halong-Bay and looking at the interesting temples.

  • French Riviera

We planned a trip to the French Riviera but we had to postpone our holiday. The view is breathe-taking with turquoise water meeting silvercolored pebble cones. A walk in Nice would be a dream.

  • Tuscany

Wine and Cheese – for my boyfriend, the meat and sausage fan, there are a lot of options here. These culinary highlights make the Tuscany beautiful and romantic. This area is so pictoral – do you know the hilly landscape from “Letters to Julia“? :-)

  • Maldives

This was out first trip together – it couldn’t have been more beautiful. The sand was like powdered sugar, the warm turquoise sea, the palms, the warm sun. The Maldives are so beautiful and not just for honey-mooners. It’s really nice to stay there as a couple. Here’s my picture diary from the Maldives

  • Dubai

This was on my list in May as well. It had also to be postponed. If you like warm weather, this is your place. Manuel would love it. High buildings, fast cars and so many great stores to shop. I hope we can do this in autumn or next year.

  • Zanzibar

For us, it’s totally romantic to do a safari tour and to share these wonderful moments together. Just observing the animals romanig freely and then spending an evening in a lodge, camp or tent. Africa has been on my Travel Bucket List for a long time and I hope I can realize my safari dreams soon.

  • Mallorca

I’ve already visited the wonderful island of Mallorca and I’m visiting again in July. White beaches, bays, turquoise sea, a rocky coast and impressive mountains. I didn’t know that the island had so many special areas. The island is perfect for couples.
