Yeah, the Fall/Winter is here, which means that the temperatures fall day by day. The sun goes down at 4pm (or earlier) and the only thing to improve ones mood is sun, beach, and the sea. If you wanted to stay in your hot tub to escape the cold weather outside for a moment, then you’re at the right place here. I want to show you the warmest destinations in winter.
Little Rain and Continously Warm – Egypt
At the red sea you can escape from the winter at home. Rain is rare this time of the year, it’s just a little colder than usual and it can get cloudy. On average you can expect 23-28 degrees celsius. For a beach holiday, you can go from September until November.
Warm and Perfect for Sightseeing – Dubai
Dubai is known for its heat between May and September, but if that is too much for you, you should visit in the winter months like November, December or January. At this time of the year it’s 25 degrees celsius – warm and perfect for sightseeing. You can find a lot of offers for this time of year. In the evening, it can get a little colder. You should still pack a bikini.
Carribean in Winter – Dominican Republic
The Dominican Republic (or also DomRep) is the most popular destination in the Carribean, where it is as cliche and wonderful as on the Maldives. The water is azure blue, endless palm trees, white beach, and wonderful weather. When it’s cold in December, January or February in Austria, you could get some sun in the Dominican Republic with around 29-30 degrees this time of year.
Summer Months in December until March – Sanzibar
Sanzibar is an archipelago, consisting of several little islands. The main islands are Unguja and Pemba. Starting from November on the Kaskazi, wind from the north east causes hot-humid weather. The temperature is between 25 – 28 degrees. The lowest temperature is between 23 – 25 degrees.
My All-Time Favourite – Thailand
In Thailand the weather varies from region to region. The months January and February are best for a holiday in Thailand. You can’t go wrong between November to March though. On Koh Samui, Koh Phangan or Koh Tao it’s around 30 degrees and the water is between 25 and 28 degrees. In Bangkok, it’s also very warm – maybe too warm for sightseeing. We were on Koh Chang (near the Cambodian border) in November and we had great weather. In January on Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, and Koh Tao it was also very warm. We visited Bangkok during both trips and had super hot weather.
The Canaries in Winter – Gran Canaria
On the third biggest Canarian island “Gran Canaria” is 24-27 degrees warm in months like October, November, and December. The lower temperatures go down to 15-17 degrees at night. Much better than 50 degrees in the summer. The prices on Gran Canaria are moderate. You can stay longer in winter.
Summer All Year Long – Cape Verde Islands
The Cape Verde Islands are a popular destination for the winter months of November and December. It’s around 27 degrees all year long. It’s even warmer than the Red Sea. A lot of surfers are enjoy the trade wind this time of year, which begin in January.
High Season in Paradise – Maldives
For those with enough money: if you want to make sure that the weather is 100% like in paradise, the Maldives are a good match. It’s high season there in the winter months.
