Straßbourg: My Tipps for a Citytrip


Hey guys, so if you think about visiting Straßbourg, you can read my tips about this really beautiful City here.

General Info über Straßbourg

The city is one of the most beautiful cities worldwide. The famous Cathédrale Notre-Dame or astronomic clock (the second one in Prague – read that post here), which is by now (2015) 1.000 years old. The place in front of the cathedrale is one of the prettiest markets in Europe. Another highlight is the Maison Kammerzell. The architecture is famous and the inner city is called „Grande Ile“ – it’s an UNESCO world cultural asset. The river Ill crosses the city. The European Parliament, the Council of Europe or the European Court of justice is located here.

This ist he oldest timbered house and it’s very popular. Check your reservations beforehand.
  • Restaurant Pont Saint Martin

The Restaurant Pont Saint Martin has a swimming deck on the river, where you can dine. It can be a little shaky – so if you have a sensitive stomach, stay inside. The tarte flambée is delicious.

The Area is very modern and impressive – if you like architecture, pay a visit.
