I don’t think my Instgram feed as ever been so beautiful as when I was staying at Sohphia Luxury Suites in Santorini and using they’re gorgeous balcony. It was so beautiful there that it’s hard to find the words to describe how lovely I found it there. Even now, it’s hard to write this review, as I simply can’t find enough positive words to describe our the wonderful atmosphere! But I’ll try now!

» The Room: Greek Architecture with Minimalistic Furnishings

We couldn’t wait to visit our next hotel in Imerovigli. Driving there from Oia was pleasant. It only takes 15 minutes to drive, Walking takes about 3 hours. Thank god we found a parking spot in Imerovigli and the Hotelmanager and a staffmember waited for us. They look our suitcases. And then we stood on our huge terrace. We had 3 little pools with a view on the ocean and the volcano island.

Theodore the hotel manager welcomed us and was very friendly. We were also surprised with a cool drink and a fruit plate. “Arriving & Relaxing“ was really easy with this view. What can I say – I felt really good and I couldn’t believe I was seeing this here. But I arrived and luxury awaits. The room was furnished very well, minimalistic and modern. The whole hotel was designed in a greek style. The bathroom had a cave design and the walls as well as the ground are smooth, shiny and white. I fell in love at first sight. The bed was super comfy, as well as the couch and the daybed. There’s a lot of places to relax. The rainshower in the bathroom was awesome! You know I’m a bathtub fan, but I didn’t use it because we had a pool.

» The Breakfast:  Healthy and Exquisite Offerings

There is a seperate breakfast menu similar to roomservice. You just choose what you want – juices, sweets, cereals, smoothies, egg dishes, and much more. Just hand in your note and it will be delivered the next morning. Perfect right?

We had breakfast twice in our room and once on the terrace. Maybe you remember my story on Snapchat. The view was so wonderful and you can’t compare it to anything else. I’ve never enjoyed something like this before. On the terrace, there was only one table. Our table. Privacy on a high level. The majority of the menu was Greek treats like greek yogurt with honey and nuts, pancakes with haloumi cheese and Greek bacon plus so much more. Manuel liked it very much and I was happy with my chocolate croissant and curd cheesse/strawberry pancakes!

» The Hotel: Terrace, Pool, & View

The hotel is really well situated, the view is great. I was in the pool so long, that my skin was pruning. But I didn’t want to leave because the view was so great. You might have seen my picture on Instagram (here and here). We had so much space. There would have been space for 5 people. The service was perfect. There’s nothing to complain about whatsoever. We were asked if we had enough water, if it’s too hot for us and if they should bring an umbrella. Nice, but not annoying. We were surprised with a strawberry smoothie and cake right before sleeping. The hotel earned 5 stars.
