Wow, I’ve let you wait very long by now. I was invited to a great event with other great girls two weeks ago. Before I tell you about these days and introduce all the great girls to you, I want to thank Marry for the organization of this great M2L Event. Thank you to all the employees & CEO’s of M2L. Thanks to you I got to know great persons and my “first time“ at the Oktoberfest in Munich ♥♥
WEDNESDAY – Fails, dirndl-fittings & new friends
I went to the airport very early on Wednesday. My flight departed at 9am. I was prepared perfectly and I planned everything through. Right before boarding, I took out my camera to put it on top of my bag to take a window seat picture. I wanted to check my SD-Card – but I forgot my memory card at home!
Luckily Anni was still at home and she lent me her SD Card. Thanks, sweetie! After dealing with this this shock, the next thing happened. I had to wait 45 Minutes for my suitcase. After arriving at the baggage carousel, I waited 5 minutes before the first suitcases arrived. After 20 Minutes the baggage carousel stopped but I didn’t have my suitcase yet. I started panicking. WHAT DO I DO WITHOUT CLOTHES??
I waited and waited and I searched for help desperately. Just like with my first faux-pas, I just returned to the baggage carousel as it suddenly started again with only my bag coming up. That’s not a joke. I’m so happy everything was okay – and then I went to Marry and her car, which was waiting outside.
We drove to the train station to pick up Anni . Then it was time for some roasted pork with dumplings. Bavarian food. We dined in the Hufnagel and I can really recommend this restaurant to you. Very traditional and delicious. Afterwards, we went to a dirndl fitting in Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn at Elisabeth Eugenis place. We already had requests for the color of the dresses and we hoped that there would be fitting choices for us. The first two dirndls we tried were made for us! We didn’t want to take them off again. We also found the blouse, apron and accessoiries very quickly. Our Wiesn-Look was ready.
The day was not over yet! After the dirndl fitting, we went to the hotel, checked in, changed and then we were picked up by three limousines, which drove us to Munich’s television tower. We dined in the restaurant 181 stories high above in the television tower. This was the first time we got the know each other. We got along immediately.
THURSDAY – Styling, Dirndls, Oktoberfest, Bowling
After a wonderful and long evening talking and laughing as well as singing along to Justin Bieber and the Backstreet Boys, we were really tired and I fell asleep immediately. I woke up at 7am. After breakfast, we immediately started the Styling and went on to the “Wiesn”. I was so happy with my hair and my wonderful Dirndl – I just couldn’t wait. At 10am we were ready. Everyone bought a gingerbread heart and took tons of pictures. Ther was not much going on this early and the weather was wonderful. In the Augustiner-Tent we had yummy Bavarian food, beer and sweets.
Since it was very warm, I had to step out a couple of times to get some fresh air. It was really great – this was my first visit to the Oktoberfest in Munich and I am really thrilled. Maybe I’ll return with these great ladies? We had to return to the hotel at 4pm, but I was really happy to get out of the Dirndl and the shoes.
Before returning, Steve took some outfit shots for us. If you put on a nice styling & dirndl like this, you need to take some pictures. I have to say, that I’m really thrilled by these pictures. Normally I’m really critical about pictures. How do you like the pictures and my dirndl? After a wonderful day at the Oktoberfest, we went bowling. Since I’m really bad at this sport and I was exhausted anyway, I just chilled on the couch and talked to the other girls. Thank god Katrin was tired as well , so we returned to the hotel. There was a program on the next day, so we went to sleep after talking for a couple of hours.
FRIDAY – Detox Wiesn Workout with Michael & saying goodbye
How do you say it? “All good things come to an end.” Just like this Wiesn Blogger Event. We were a little sad at breakfast because we had to say goodbye – Anni and Cécile had to leave earlier. But they didn’t leave us directly – right after packing our bags and checking out, we went to a fitness studio to do a Wiesn-Detox Training with Michael Aschenbrenner. This training was very demanding, but we all felt so much better afterwards. Michael motivated and pushed us!
After the training, we returned to the hotel to wait for our airport. Luckily I didn’t have to leave alone, so I could stay with the other girls. Summary of this event? It was a great time with the girls and guys and I hope to see them all again soon. Thank you very much for the organization, Marina!
