Hi guys, it’s been some time since I showed you my packing Checklist. Since my next trip is starting soon, I wanted to blog about my travel pharmacy. I never go on a trip without these things. Your body can be stressed by new situations, climate, flying or driving long, exotic food, insects. Since you don’t know if you can always buy the right medicine, I’ve gathered the perfect thing to takte with you in one list.
Basics in my Travel Pharmacy
My travel pharmacy is always the same – it doesn’t matter where I’m going to. With Sanitizers, Scissors, Tweezers, Plasters, Cotton Wool Pads, Ointment and gauze bandages, you can treat little wounds yourself. After my holidays on the Maldives and in Thailand, I added an Insectsspray. Antibrum protects you from Insects. Euceta Kühlgel is good for sunburn or insectwounds.

Travel sickness & Headaches
I could tell you tons of stories about travel sickness, but I won’t. But if you’re in a waterplane, a speedboat or a tuctuc, it can get bumpy. If you’re near or on water you can get sick easily. I’m using Superpep Reise Kaugummi or Paspertin drops. The drops are good against headaches as well. The chewing gum isn’t dose das high and doesn’t make you sleepy.
Health in your bag
This topic is not as great, but if you’re having gastrointestinal problems on a trip it can be really unpleasent. For diarrhea I take Bioflorin capsules and Imodium pills. The medication helps quickly and stops the danger from loosing water and electrolytes. It also calms the gastrointestinal peristalsis. If it’s hard for you to find the right products, contact your doctor or talk to the pharmacist. You should also check allergies!.
This list is just an suggestion for you. You have to talk to your doctor or read the medication instructions. Especially if you want to medicate a child. Antibiotis and Malaria Prophylaxis shouldn’t be taken without medical advice. Refer to the package leaflet for risks and side effects and consult your doctor or pharmacist.. No liability can be derived from the author.
