Baking: Orange Cake Recipe


I showed you this yummy orange cake a couple of days ago on my Instagram. The cake was as yummy as it looks – the best part is that this cake is super easy to make. Have fun baking. I look forward to your comments. See you

Preparation time: 10-15 Minutes
Bake 25 Minutes at 200°C

250 g flour
2 Tsp baking powder
3 Tbsp cornstarch
180 g powdered sugar
1 Pack. Vanilla sugar
4 Eggs
250g melted, cooled down butter
Juice of half an orange
Peel of an orange
  1. Mix the flour with the baking soda and the starch; sieve the mixture into a closeable container. Add the rest of the ingredients one after another. Mix the eggs before adding. Close the container and shake it for 20-30 seconds. Check if there are still lumps of flour. Put the dough in your baking tin and bake it for 25 minutes at 200°C.
  2. Soak the cake with a mixture of the juice of half an orange, some water and the dissolved sugar. Remove the cake from the tin and let it cool down.
  3. Before serving, sprinkle powdered sugar over the cake. Have fun baking and eating!
