There’s no city I like better for a city trip then Rome. Rome, the city with so much history and Italy’s capital. Even though it’s shape is bad, dirty and intoxicated by the Mafia, the eternal city has its charm.

I had goosebumps when I first stood in front of the colloseum, the Piazza San Pietro, and the St. Peter’s Basilica. I was breathless in the Sistine Chapel and I could feel the magic. I can  also recommend booking a tour in the Vatican. I know so many visit without a tour and the historical background. Don’t do that! It’s so worth it. It’s expensive but worth it. Even my boyfriend, who is not the biggest culture fan, was inspired.

I could make this list so much longer. Rome has a lot to offer. The statehouse, the Spanish stairs and the Forum Romanum. I’d visit Rome again even though you have to spend more.
