#chicchooleetravels – My Impressions of PRAGUE

Hi guys, as you know, I was in Prague last week. Today, I want to show you all my impressions, before I show you my Barcelon posts.. I’m there right now, by the way! You can follow me around on Instagram (@chicchoolee).

You can find my hotel review HERE.

Prague is a really pretty city with its historical center full of coffee houses and antique shops. I linked some hotspots below! If you know more on Prague, feel free to comment and share! Thank you for sharing your impressions on Instagram as well!

We walked around so much and we tried to see as much as possible. 2.5 days were not enough. You should at least stay for 3-5 days. I hope you like the pics. Have a nice day and thank you for your comments!

P.S.: I posted lots of pictures on my Instagram andFacebook!

3 days in Prague

Day 1: Arriving in Prague & 17 km extreme Sightseeing

We drove about 3 hours to Prague going directly to the hotel. You can read my post about the Park Inn here. The employees were very nice. We immediately started sightseeing after arriving. We walked 17km around the town! For lunch, we paid a visit to the restaurant Taverna Toscana, which is located directly at the astronomical clock. The restaurant was perfect, nice service and delicious food. Afterwards we needed to rest at our hotel and we enjoyed the time on the balcony with a great view.

We can recommend the following Spots:

Charles Bridge

We had awesome weather (27-28°C) and there were a lot of artists on the bridge. Musicians, painters, jugglers and many more. Funny and happy people.

Oldtown & Town Hall and the astronomical clock
We waited for the clock to ring the bell. There were many tourists, but it’s worth it. All the cute buildings are nice to observe. The city makes you dream.

Veitsdom Church on the Prague Castle
It can’t get any bigger. The Castle area in Prague is the biggest worldwide and is on the Hradschin mountain. I must admit that I found the Castle more interesting when watching it from far away, then when we were near it. If you’re not super interested in historical buildings and architecture it’s a lot of time to get up to the Castle and see everything in there – so you should know beforehand, that you need to calculate about 5 hours for everything.

Day 2: Relaxing Sightseeing & Shoppingtour
Unfortunately the weather worsened the next day. That’s why we decided to go to a shopping mall. In the afternoon we went tot he Park Petřínské sady. You can find more shopping malls HERE.

We wanted a traditional and fast lunch this time, so we bought a sandwich with spicy salami at  Tesco. We had Trdelník for dessert – which are traditional dough balls grilled over fire and rolled in sugar and cinnamon. You can find them everywhere in Prague.

Day 3: The last day & Leaving
The time flies too fast. I wanted to stay longer, but we’ll be back for sure. Since it’s not too far away, we can be spontaneous. After breakfast and checkout, we strolled around the city before driving home.
